Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the New Tide Therapy website collects and how it is used. It was last updated on October 2, 2026.
What This Policy Covers
This policy covers the website at newtidetherapy.com and the contact form on it. Once you become a client, the information you share in therapy is part of your clinical record and is protected by the confidentiality rules that apply to licensed therapists in Texas. Vanessa explains how those rules work before therapy begins.
Information You Send Through the Contact Form
When you use the form on the Work With Me page, the details you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number and a short message, are sent to Vanessa so she can reply. They are stored in the secure systems the practice uses to manage new inquiries.
Please keep your message brief and leave out health details, diagnoses or anything else you would not want sent by email. You can share more once you have spoken with Vanessa.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, this site and its hosting provider record basic technical information when pages load, such as the type of browser you use, the pages you visit and the time of the visit. This is used to keep the site running and to understand which pages people find helpful.
How Information Is Used
Information from the contact form is used to respond to you, to arrange a free consultation and to keep a record of the inquiry. New Tide Therapy does not sell personal information and does not share it with advertisers.
Email, Forms and Emergencies
Email and website forms are not a secure way to share private health information, and messages are not monitored around the clock. If you are in crisis or thinking about suicide, call or text 988, or call 911 if you are in immediate danger.
Your Choices
You can ask Vanessa to delete an inquiry you sent through the form, unless it has become part of a clinical record. Send the request through the Work With Me page. If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change with it.
